Book Description(From Amazon)

Publication Date: January 19, 2013
Minuette Sinclair’s parents are in trouble and her fake fiancé is too. A legendary lost necklace might be their salvation, and Min is determined to find it and use it to buy her family and fiancé out of their misfortunes.

Master thief Bryant Westley is also looking for the fabled necklace. He knows Min’s got information he can use so he poses as her dance instructor and tries to seduce it from her. What he doesn’t count on are his feelings for her. He offers to partner up in the search – even though she is a distraction he can’t afford.

Things become more complicated when Min realizes that her convenient engagement means more to her fake fiancé than her and that she’s fallen in love with Bryant. Bryant realizes that he can’t double cross the young lady he’s come to love. Can they find the necklace together and admit their love before it’s too late?

MY THOUGHTS:
TO TRUST A THIEF by Michelle McLean is an exciting historical romance set in 1855 England. Fast paced thrill ride from beginning to end. While searching for a treasure, danger lurks and love blossoms. Filled with danger, secrets, legend, family heirloom, deception, murder and love. As Bryant and Min struggle with their attraction, fight their enemy can they learn to truly trust each other? While, Min starts out a little childish to me, she comes into herself,it was great to see her character develop as the story moves along. A must read story! Received for an honest review from the publisher.

Return of the Viscount
by Gayle Callen

Her marriage of convenience seemed far too convenient…

Desperation drove Cecilia Mallory to seek a union with a stranger–one who would wed her sight unseen and grant her full access to her inheritance with no expectations whatsoever. She anticipated, perhaps, an older, undesirable, equally desperate husband–never the young, vibrant, and devastingly attractive man who answered her call. What could such a man really be after?

Unknown to Cecilia, Viscount Michael Blackthorne, a soldier and gentleman, owes a

debt of honor to Lady Cecilia’s father, and granting her unusual request to wed seemed a worthy way to repay it. But an unseen threat perilously close at hand is convincing Michael that his true responsibility is to protect the beautiful, warm-hearted lady he has married…the woman he is unexpectedly coming to love.

A second chance at love––on the run.

WHEN FANNY Greyville-Nugent’s father suffers a gruesome death in the clutches of his own machine, mourning his loss is not the beautiful heiress’s only heartbreak. Scotland Yard is convinced he was targeted in a plot to halt the rise of industry, and Fanny’s former fiance, dashing and dubious detective Raphael “Rafe” Lewis, has been assigned to the case.

For the estranged ex-lovers, bringing the notorious assassins to justice proves as tumultuous as quelling pent-up desires. Fighting peril and passion at every turn of a dangerous journey from Edinburgh to London, they are pursued by an anarchist group hell-bent on destroying her father’s mysterious entry into the London Industrial Exposition.

MY THOUGHTS:

A DANGEROUS LIAISON WITH DETECTIVE LEWIS by Jillian Stone is an exciting, fast paced Victorian Historical Romance set in 1887 England. Book #2 in “The Gentlemen of Scotland Yard” series, but can be read as a stand alone. See,”An Affair With Mr. Kennedy”. With mystery, romance, intrigue, jilted love, murder, passion, a bit of wit, love, did I mention sexy, smart characters and a plot to die for,you will not go wrong with The Men of Scotland Yard and their ladies. Ms. Stone, draws her readers into the story and holds them there as they travel from high society to the slums of London and Edinburgh on an adventure of love and mystery as her characters heat up the pages. A must read! I adore “The Gentlemen of Scotland Yard”. This author is on my auto buy list! A wonderful, fast paced, action packed historical romance. Received for an honest review from the publisher. Details can be found at the author’s website,Pocket Books,an imprint of Simon & Schuster, and My Book Addiction and More.
