In this dazzling Dangerous Rogues novel from Tiffany Clare, a daring and dangerously handsome duke will do anything for the woman he loves—even if it sparks a scandal, in The Scandalous Duke Takes a Bride.

As a wealthy young widow, Lady Jessica Heyer must endure the closest of scrutiny and most wicked of rumors from society gossips. Their whispers would be utterly unbearable if it weren’t for her oldest friend, the Duke of Alsborough. Jessica knows she can always count on Hayden. What she never could have expected, however, is that he is deeply, madly in love with her…

For years, Hayden has kept his longing for his beautiful friend Jessica a secret. But now that she’s finally free to remarry, will she be willing to take their relationship to a more intimate level? He’ll get his answer soon—at a glittering masquerade, where identities are hidden, hearts are open, and true love is unmasked…in a single, shameless act of passion.

THE SCANDALOUS DUKE TAKES A BRIDE by Tiffany Clare is another exciting Victorian era Historical Romance. #3 in the “Dangerous Rogues” series, but can be read as a stand alone.

Meet, Lady Jessica Heyer, a wealthy widow and her oldest friend, Hayden, the
Duke of Alsborough.

Jessica abused as a wife, left nearly dissolute, under scrutiny by the gossip-mongers to the ton, and rumors twirling all around her, she must move forward.

Hayden, her closest and dearest friend, has loved her from afar for years. He will do anything to save her and marry her. He has loved her for years, but sat by helplessly as her husband abused and mocked her endlessly even after his death.

Filled with passion, a bit of danger, and romance. Can long-time friends become lovers and finally find the love they both seek?

You must pick up SCANDALOUSLY DUKE TAKES A BRIDE to find out their fate. The three books in this series overlap each other, with their stories. Except, you learn more of Jessica and Hayden in this one. Also, to me, this story is more about the romance between Jessica and Hayden than anything else. The characters are engaging and likeable. The storyline was interesting. An overall enjoyable read!

I loved this story from beginning to end as the characters learn more of each others past, let go of past hurts, and find their own happiness in each other’s arms. A Gothic Victorian Romance not to be missed. Well written, with not only engaging characters, but with vivid history of the Ireland coastline and a storyline to die for, and Sheeva just might. I would highly recommend “Mistress of Raghery” to any and all historical romance readers. Rich with Ireland history and myths. A must read! “Robin and Sophie’s love story is a sweeping tale filled with drama and yearning.”—Teresa Grant, author of The Paris Affair

Late in England’s Victorian age, the world is changing—new freedoms, new ideas, and perhaps a chance for an old love to be new again…

A love too strong to let go…

Aspiring singer Sophie Tresilian had the world at her feet—fame, fortune, and true love—until the man of her dreams broke her heart. Now she’s the toast of Europe, desired by countless men but unwilling to commit to any of them. Then Robin Pendarvis walks back into her life…

Four years ago, Robin had hoped to make Sophie his bride, but secrets from his past forced him to let her go. Seeing her again revives all the old pain—and all the old passion. It might be against every rule, but somehow, some way, he will bring them together again.

A SONG AT TWILIGHT by Pamela Sherwood is an interesting Late Victorian era Historical Romance set in 1896 London. Star – crossed lovers try to navigate the waters of polite society and back to each others arms. Follow aspiring singer Sophie Tresilian and Robin Pendarvis, the once man of her dreams, on a journey of passion, music and romance. Can an old love be revived? Read “A Song at Twilight” to find out. In the late Victorian era of England times are changing, with new ideas are forming, and new freedoms on the horizon, but, some of  the old ways still linger. While, to me, it starts out a bit slow, it picks up nicely. It is thought provoking, emotional, with a bit of mystery. If you are a music or poetry lover you will enjoy reading “A Song at Twilight”.  Sophie and Robin are well worth the time to read their story. An interesting and enchanting story, once you get to reading! Received for an honest review from the publisher.

Return of the Viscount
by Gayle Callen

Her marriage of convenience seemed far too convenient…

Desperation drove Cecilia Mallory to seek a union with a stranger–one who would wed her sight unseen and grant her full access to her inheritance with no expectations whatsoever. She anticipated, perhaps, an older, undesirable, equally desperate husband–never the young, vibrant, and devastingly attractive man who answered her call. What could such a man really be after?

Unknown to Cecilia, Viscount Michael Blackthorne, a soldier and gentleman, owes a

debt of honor to Lady Cecilia’s father, and granting her unusual request to wed seemed a worthy way to repay it.
