(From Goodreads)

left at the altar for the second time in two years.

Raleigh Rockets center fielder Ryan Green keeps life simple – play ball, have fun, and keep an eye on his recently widowed father. When Ryan attends Lindsey’s disaster of a wedding, another sizzling task hits his to-do list – help Lindsey learn how to break the rules.

Before long, Ryan is showing Lindsey just how much fun she’s been missing – in the bedroom and beyond. But Lindsey’s brother Zach (part of the Rockets’ management team) disapproves of their new relationship. And Zach just offered Ryan’s father the job of a lifetime.

When the conflict moves center stage, will Ryan choose Lindsey? Or will his obligations to the Rockets and his father send Lindsey back to her stifled life alone?

My Thoughts

I received this ebook for the purpose of a review. I finished it in one setting. It’s a quick easy ready. Set in NC, you watch as a Lindsey deals with her 2nd time being left at the alter. Ryan is there to help her be the bad girl she’s never been. I loved the story, even though I hated to see it end. I would have been happier if it’d lasted a few more chapters. The ending did feel a bit rushed but overall it’s a very enjoyable quick read. I am eager to read more from this author and more in this series. While this is book #8 in the Diamond Brides series I did not feel lost. If you are looking a fun, fast, read then Center Stage is the perfect story for you! Fans of baseball romances will want to add this series to their reading list, I know I’m eager to find out more about the whole team.

See how all aspects of football have evolved in this highly visual book filled with history and trivia about the game. You’ll see a football transform before your eyes from a melon-like ball crudely stitched together to the aerodynamic pigskin it is today; or watch as a quarterback evolves from a scrawny helmetless player of the 1930s to a hulking play caller of the modern era.

From rules to equipment to the all-time greats, this book is a journey through the game spanning the years

My Thoughts:

Sports Illustrated Kids Football Then to WOW! by The Editors of Sports Illustrated Kids is a wonderful Kids/Sports book. For ages 8 and up and grade level 3 and up, but I feel any sports fanatic will enjoy. Simply put another WOW to this amazing Kids series. Filled with information from the 1940’s to 2010’s! This is the story of the rise of Football to it’s standing today, as America’s most popular sport. Vivid pictures. Did you know when Football was first born? Well, it was 1869, no pads was wore, no passing or carrying the ball. How things have changed since those days. This title has so much information, any sports or Football fan is sure to savor each and every page. Well done! Another must have in your library. A must read!!

How often do golfers make a hole in one? What are the chances you’ll catch a foul ball at a baseball game? How often do Number 1 draft picks become Super Bowl winners?

This book is the perfect combination of little-known stats, amazing plays, and fun facts. Not only will we address all the burning questions that curious sports fans want to know, this book will highlight some incredible moments and underscore exactly how special those highlight-reel plays are.

MY THOUGHTS:

Sports Illustrated Kids What are the Chances? The Wildest Plays in Sports Paperback by The Editors of Sports Illustrated Kids is a wonderful Kids/Sports book. Once again, Sports Illustrated Kids has written a book that is full of interesting details. Fill with detailed pictures, goals for the seasons, points in a game, touchdowns in a game, strike outs in an inning and so much more. While, again categorized as age group 8 and up and grade level 3 and up, it is a treasure for any age.

In The Softball Coaching Bible, Volume II, the NFCA has assembled a stellar lineup of coaches who share the insights that have helped them establish successful programs. This book presents the most comprehensive information on fielding, hitting, training, forming a coaching staff, and helping develop well-rounded student-athletes.

Biography

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) is the sport’s leading professional growth organization for coaches at all competitive levels of play. The NFCA works to formulate guiding principles, standards, and policies for conducting competitive fastpitch softball programs for girls and women. It encourages players to participate in softball with the highest tradition of competition and to become leaders in their fastpitch programs. The NFCA recognizes outstanding members through its Victory Club and Coach of the Year awards programs, in addition to All-Region, All-American, and Scholar-Athlete awards programs for members’ college and high school players. The NFCA also works with USA Today to produce polls for NCAA Division I, II, and III and high school softball teams, and it hosts collegiate tournaments and recruiting camps across the nation.
MY THOUGHTS:
THE SOFTBALL COACHING BIBLE: Volume II by National Fastpitch Coaches Association is an educational non-fiction/Softball/Coaching/Softball for Children. I must admit I was a little overwhelmed at first with all the information contained within these 357+ pages of knowledge, but the NFCA has put together a very comprehensive book with various areas of coaching including hitting, training and of coarse putting together a coaching staff.  Volume II picks up where Volume I left off, apparently. I have not read Volume  I, but found this was a very educational and informative novel. This group of talented coaches lend their coaching experience, for instruction, guidance and recommendations  to every coach for every aspect of coaching a softball team. A great resource! Very educational and informative. Received for an honest review from the publisher and Library Thing.
