MY THOUGHTS:

SINCERELY YOURS by Jane Kirkpatrick, Amanda Cabot, Laurie Alice Eakes, and Ann Shorey is a wonderful collection of inspirational historical Romance set in 1825 -1892, from New York City to Chicago.A Novella Collection.

Revell Books’ first Christian novella anthology and what a great beginning!

Four talented authors lend their talents to four incredible tales of love, faith, and romance. From a steamboat on the Hudson River, to a remote hospital, to a Carousel carver’s workship, to a lush drawing room to the Erie Canal, four young women find their lives altered forever and find more than they ever expected.

SINCERELY YOURS is a must read for so many reasons, from engaging characters, to well thought out storylines, to drama, family, faith, suspense,a bit of mystery, and an adventure inward finding true love and happiness. With peace though into the mixture.

You will not be disappointed with this collection from the first page to the last page. These are talented authors, whom I enjoy reading, put together they are unbeatable, to be sure. What a collection and a true treasure to anyone’s library. I would highly recommend this collection of powerful, delicious tales of love and romance. Simply delicious! Well done, ladies!! A woman without a prospect. A man without a homeland. Can love give them a future?

Honore Bainbridge has been courted by two men, one of whom turned out to be a traitor, the other a murderer. Banished to her family’s country estate, where she will hopefully stay out of trouble, she finally meets the man she is sure is exactly right for her: Lord Ashmoor. Tall, dark, and handsome–what more could a girl ask for?

But he too is under suspicion because of his American upbringing and accusations that he has helped French prisoners escape from Dartmoor Prison. If he’s to keep out of a British prison himself and secure his place in British society, Lord Ashmoor needs a wife beyond reproach–something the vexingly beautiful Honore certainly is not. Though they find themselves drawn to each other, family obligations may conspire to keep them apart forever.

For the sake of her heart, Honore determines to prove Ashmoor’s innocence–even if doing so risks her own life.

MY THOUGHTS:

A RELUCTANT COURTSHIP by Laurie Alice Eakes is an exciting Christian Historical Romance set in 1813 Devonshire, England. #3 in “The Daughters of Bainbridge House”, but can be read as a stand alone. See, “A Necessary Deception” and ” A Flight of Fancy”. “A Reluctant Courtship” is my favorite so far in this series. Follow Honore Bainbridge and Lord Ashmoor on a journey of danger, banishment, spies, family obligations, faith, healing, forgiveness, hope and love. With a bit of romance, lots of luck, Honore and Ashmoor may just find love and happiness and live to enjoy their lives.  Along with a lot of danger, a secret or two, revenge, justice, betrayal, you will find grace and the power of love. Honore must fight to save Ashmoor and prove him innocent of treason and being a traitor.A must read! I have enjoyed each and every one of Ms. Eakes stories, she is a wonderful storyteller that draws the reader into her stories and holds them there. She writes gripping, powerful and emotional stories from the very first page to the last page and leaves you in awe.  Loved this story! Bravo,Ms. Eakes!!Received for an honest review from the publisher.
