Regency England: Four young lords live for wine, women, and song and little responsibility. But then an incident occurs and they make a wager that they should wed by age thirty . . . and that these be love matches.

Will Lord Windmere (Matthew Fremont), who has been running from parson’s mousetrap, win, or lose and pay £1500 to his friends?

“I’m so excited about Gianna Thomas’ ‘Four Lords’ Saga’ Regency Romance! And her original characters are amazing.” ~Kay Springsteen

Matthew Fremont has accepted an invitation to a house party as he is seriously considering looking for a wife and starting his nursery as his parents have requested of him. He discovers on his arrival that Lady Jane Thornton—his longtime friend from a neighboring estate to his parents’ home—is also in attendance. Since he has not seen her for two years, he is pleasantly surprised to find that she is all grown up, and he is more than happy with the result.

Lady Jane Anne Thornton is also pleased at seeing her friend, Matt. Occasionally allowed to tag along with him and her older brother, Robbie, Janie has long held a tendre for Matt. And it’s not just because she saw him and her brother swimming at the hidden falls. Will their friendship turn into love? Will they be able to overcome the obstacle of a rival for Matt’s affections? And will Janie even survive the house party?

THE FOUR LORDS’ SAGA – A Regency Romance Series

Four young lords live for wine, women, and song and little responsibility. Although not as dissipated as most rakes, the reputations of these four friends are not the best, and their lifestyles are not something to be proud of. But then an incident occurs that impacts the lives of all four men. They will make changes, but exactly what kind of changes will each consider?

Lord Windmere – Book 1 – The story revolves around a house party where two old friends meet again. However, the house party is anything but pleasant. Will the reconciliation of their friendship be a happy or a tragic one?

Lord Weirlane – Book 2 – The setting also involves a house party but one of a different type than Book 1. Learn why this gathering does end in tragedy.

Lord Foxdown – Book 3 – What happens when one falls in love, but the family objects, especially his friend who is the brother of his beloved.

Lord Brookton – Book 4 – Saving a fair maiden can have serious consequences when she has a right hook like Gentleman Jim Jackson.

MY THOUGHTS

#1 in “The Four Lords’Saga”. A Regency Historical Romance Short Stories, this is Lord Windmere’s story. An enjoyable look into the lives of four wealthy titled young friends, their exploits, and the premise of a HEA. A quick read, rich in details, characters and storyline. Well written. The characters are engaging, interesting and intriguing. The storyline has a rich, setting in which the reader will be drawn into the story. It is set during a house party. Unique writing style, with and intriguing premise of finding love and giving up their wicked ways. An enjoyable read! However, the reader is left with A kinda cliffhanger. I look forward to Lord Weirlane’s story. Well worth an afternoon reading.

The upcoming series…

Lord Weirlane – Book 2 – The setting also involves a house party but one of a different type than Book 1. Learn why this gathering does end in tragedy.

Lord Foxdown – Book 3 – What happens when one falls in love, but the family objects, especially his friend who is the brother of his beloved.

Lord Brookton – Book 4 – Saving a fair maiden can have serious consequences when she has a right hook like Gentleman Jim Jackson.
