She would be his perfect revenge…
All of the young ladies whispered about the Duke of Mondvale in hushed tones, their eyes following his tall, dark figure with barely disguised lust. For the newly-ostracized Lady Constance Thornton, he is magnetic and altogether desirable. Irresistibly so. Since her reputation is already ruined in London society, why shouldn’t she be impudent and dance with the scandalous “Lord of Sin”?
Little does she know of his plans.

The beautiful and innocent Lady Constance is no mere plaything for Lucan Wynwood. She will be his revenge. By ruining her, he will have his vengeance against her brother. Except that the Lady Constance is full of surprises… and now she could well be the ruin of him.

SINS OF A DUKE by Stacy Reid is a fascinating and interesting Victorian Romance set in England. #3 on the “Scandalous House of Calydon”,while, it can be read as a stand alone, I recommend reading the other two in this intriguing series. Determined to ruin the Duke of Calydon, the “Duke of Son” finds, instead, a deep attraction to his sister. An eye for an eye, pain for pain, hurt for hurt, a sister for a sister, or so our hero thinks. The Duke of Sin meets an innocent lady, and so it begins…
Determined to seek his vengeance against his perceived enemy, our hero soon learns, love, cometh before a fall. Our hero finds love, passion, and light instead of darkness. Our hero also finally realizes his beloved sister had faults of her own, and her death wass not his to carry, or his to seek vengeance toward. Fast paced and filled with secrets, family, dishonor, romance amidst turmoil and angst. The heroine finds the Love of her life or so she thought, until she learns the truth. She thought our hero was her Prince Charming, but she an important lesson, things are not always S they seem
An enjoyable and very satisfying read. The characters are endearing, passionate and compelling. The storyline unique in its own way. Well written with warmth and romance. A true historical romance reader’s delight.
