When Confederate soldier Lt. Daniel McCoy makes his escape from a Union prison toward the end of the Civil War, his only thought is to get as far away from enemy territory as possible. But he doesn’t count on saving young widow Rosemarie Wilson’s life. Rosemarie has no use for Rebels soldiers, having lost everything, including her husband, the last time they came to her home. However, Daniel has not only saved her life, but is sticking around to help with the farm and her three children until she recovers. With Union soldiers searching for him, every day Daniel remains puts him in danger. Or is the beautiful widow who has captured his heart the greater risk? Sensuality Level: Behind Closed Doors

MY THOUGHTS:

A wonderful Historical! Daniel is a Rebel officer, and an escaped prisoner. He finds himself helping a widow with three children, Rosemarie. Of course, danger and love follows.

Well written with interesting and engaging characters. The storyline is interesting. But, if you are looking for a very sensual story, DANIEL’S DESIRE, is a tender love story. It does have a few passionate moments, but not anything overwhelming.

I loved the way Rosemarie, followed her heart to save the man she came to love. And the way, Daniel was a hero to Rosemarie, and her children. I loved this tender tale of love, and second chances. A must read for anyone who enjoys the Civil War era, romance, and second chances. An absolute pleasure to read! This is a quick, easy to read story!
