MY THOUGHTS:

AGAINST THE WILD by Kat Martin is another interesting romantic Suspense set in Eagle Bay, Alaska, an old fishing town. #1 in “The Brodies of Alaska” series, what a beginning!

We start this series off with the story of Dylan Brodie, his daughter, Emily and Lane Bishop.

Lane Bishop is a Beverly Hills designer, who lost her fiance three years earlier tragically. Dylan Brodie, is a single father of an eight-year old daughter, Emily, who has spoken since her mother abandoned them three years earlier for another man.

Together, Dylan and Lane,  are to remodel Dylan’s fishing lodge. Oh, but sparks fly in more ways than one! Oh, did I mention haunts, ghostly noises and visions? Is the lodge haunted? Or is mischief in the air?

Fast paced and filled with romance, mystery, and love. Emotional upheaval on both Dylan and Lane’s hearts, not counting little Emily’s. Readers are sure to delight in the way Ms. Martin feeds into the mystery and the sensual way Dylan and Lane finally come together. Readers are also, sure to enjoy the romantic suspense as well as the romance between Dylan and Lane. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next “Broadies of Alaska” series. A joy to read. Another great mystery, and suspense from Ms. Martin. Received for an honest review from Net Galley and the publicist.
