Can a young widow find love again with her husband’s reflection?

Haley’s three-year marriage to Sam, an army medic, ends tragically when he’s killed in Afghanistan. Her attempts to create a new life for herself are ambushed when she arrives home one evening—and finds her husband waiting for her. Did the military make an unimaginable mistake when they told her Sam was killed?

Too late to make things right with his estranged twin brother, Stephen discovers Sam never told Haley about him. As Haley and Stephen navigate their fragile relationship, they are inexorably drawn to each other. How can they honor the memory of a man whose death brought them together—and whose ghost could drive them apart?

Somebody Like You is a beautifully rendered, affecting novel, reminding us that while we can’t change the past, we have the choice to change the future and start anew.

SOMEBODY LIKE YOU by Beth K. Vogt is an interesting Inspirational Contemporary Romance/Fiction. This is the story of Haley, Sam and Sam’s estranged twin brother, Stephen. Sam was killed in Afghanistan, leaving, Haley a widow, after only three years of marriage. A heart-wrenching tale of letting go of the past to learn to love again.

Haley, never knew Sam had a twin brother. Of course, she was shocked to learn of this,  thinking Sam alive, after all, when she first saw Stephen. Sam and Stephen had been estranged for years.

A tale of second chances, loss, regrets, grief, letting go of what was to embrace what is, if you can.

A tearjerker to be sure, but a beautiful tale of life, widowhood, healing, forgiveness, faith, redemption, family and the promise of what’s to come.

Beautifully written, with engaging characters and an intriguing storyline. Do be sure to have tissues at the ready. A wonderful read from beginning to the very last page. Well done!!
